Enhance any room with this matte black and gold hand-sculpted decorative bowl inspired by the majestic coloring of the head of the Pacific Loon. This beautiful avian sculpture was finished with a unique encaustic wax technique, and would add a modern touch to any space.
While beautiful and vibrant, encaustic wax pieces are ideal for decorative use where they will not receive too much heat. Due to the properties of wax, if a piece receives too much sunlight, is placed right next to a warm light bulb, or used to store food, this can cause melting of the finish.
