Handmade nest-inspired decorative bowl with a cozy feel makes the perfect decor for bird lovers. The nest is finished with fired underglaze in a bowl with a black encaustic finish.

While beautiful and vibrant, encaustic wax pieces are ideal for decorative use where they will not receive too much heat. Due to the properties of wax, if a piece receives too much sunlight, is placed right next to a warm light bulb, or used to store food, this can cause melting of the finish.
